2024-2025 Del City Eagles Basketball – Presented by Tom Kilburn – Shelter Insurance

DEL CITY EAGLES
Coach: Lenny Hatchett

23-24 Record: 17-10

OUTLOOK

Making it to the state tournament isn’t just a dream for the Del City Eagles, it’s an expectation. Despite the high bar set by teams past, head coach Lenny Hatchett continues to develop top level talent and find ways to make the chemistry work the Eagles to live up to those expectations.

“We are looking to compete for another State Tournament appearance, which would be nine years in a row. We will have a very tough athletic group of players returning five players that have started at some point last season,” said coach Hatchett.

Jaden Johnson (5-10, Sr.) is a shooter and finisher around the rim. He has a great mid-range game and a willingness to lead on both ends of the floor according to coach Hatchett. Johnson averaged 7.0 points a game last season but those totals are expected to rise in his final season. Mishaun Graham (6-1, Sr.) is a guard/forward who also averaged 7.0 points last season. Graham is a returning starter and a versatile player for coach Hatchett. Extremely athletic, Graham can score and defend some of the best opponents in the state.

Caleb Blackwolf (6-0, So.) is a young and exciting player many of the Eagle faithful are looking forward to seeing compete this season. Blackwolf is poised for a breakout season in the Eagle’s offense. Also look for Landon Lathrop Sanders (6-4, Sr.) in the post. Sanders is a “glue” guy who averaged 4.0 points as a junior.

Marquis Fleming (6-3, Fr.) is a talented freshman with the ability to cause defenses problems. His quickness and ability to score in high-volume makes him a dangerous player. D’Marion Turner (5-10, Sr.) plays point guard where he averaged 4.0 points a game. Turner is a smart player with the ball in his hands. Also look for Tayvann Johnson (6-4, Sr.) in the paint. Last season he averaged seven a game.

Other players to watch include Berley Richardson (6-2, Sr.) at guard, Kamonz Shaw (5-10, Jr.) at point, Marcus Fleming (6-5, Jr.) at forward, Josiah Chester (6-1, So.) at guard/forward, and Deontray Mustin (6-0, So.) at guard.
